Privacy

SpecDebug processes pasted contracts, schemas and response bodies in your browser. Inputs stay in memory and clear on reload.

What stays in the browser

Workbench and specialist analysis use local browser workers. Repair and conversion previews also stay local. SpecDebug does not save inputs to localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or cookies, include them in addresses, upload them to a backend, or intentionally log them. Copy actions use your device clipboard only when selected.

Preferences and network traffic

Only your light or dark theme preference is saved in localStorage, under specdebug-theme. SpecDebug has no accounts, analytics, advertising, session replay or cloud history. No pasted contract is included in normal requests for pages or application code.

Hosting on Vercel

SpecDebug is hosted on Vercel, which serves pages and static assets and provides network security. Normal web requests expose technical information such as an IP address, request path and browser information to the hosting service. Vercel may process operational and security request metadata. This hosting traffic is separate from the contract analysis performed in your browser. See Vercel’s Privacy Notice for its description of platform processing.

References and external documentation

Remote schema references, OpenAPI imports, provider APIs and MCP servers are never contacted by analysis. Official documentation links are deliberate navigation away from this site; the destination has its own privacy practices. Reload or close the page to release pasted inputs. Browser extensions and device clipboard history are outside this application’s control.

Operator and privacy contact

Send privacy questions about SpecDebug.com to info@specdebug.com. If you email us, your message and sender address are handled by email services outside the browser-only analysis workflow. Avoid sending confidential contracts in a contact email.
